seriously i have the best roomies, and we just acquired kendra and kenzi.
which makes the members of our house:
cait, kelli, kendra, kenzi, kylie, and ash...ya meeting people is a nightmare.
so, once upon a time kelli makelle and i had the sweet idea to run a half marathon (13.1 miles) in the middle of January. training went really well until christmas. so, hopefully we don't die. This weekend we'll be traveling to st. geezy for the marathon....the point? sometimes i wonder why i put myself through pain for zero pleasure. Case in point: frozen vegetables...lots of them, on my shins...sore muscles like you wouldn't believe! you know when the morbidly obese/ really fat people can't walk very far because their upper thighs rub together, making a very uncomfortable rash like owie known as CHAFFING... Never in my life did i think i'd have such a problem until i decided to wear cotton shorts on a 10 mile run... this was the aftermath.

yes it looks like some kind of awful disease.
but really, for someone who used to run the 400 dash...and despised long distance running, i'd say i've come pretty far. and i'll be running another half in april. so in the end, long distance running has kinda become a way of life, and i'm sure my chaffed sore legs will be thanking me one day.
