this has pretty much been on repeat for the past 3 days.
I can always count on Pandora to play the saddest most heart wrenching song to make my start crying.
...and i never thought i had any talents, did you guys know i can cry on command?

it's no surprise I'm obsessed with it, the lyrics are pretty perfect.

...and I know that humor doesn't really fix anything, but it puts a nice band-aid on the wounds.

and i know that the next stop on Nick's journey is the greatest place, and there's better kayaking and probably hotter babes up there.

and I know that his journey with cancer has given him the chance to experience and love life in a way that most people don't get to.

and I know that the past 3 years have not been wasted, but have been filled with the most hilarious, great memories that keep Makelle, Kelli, Kailey and I laughing when we feel like crying.

and i know that it will get better.....

...but right now it's not okay.
and sometimes that just has to be enough.
sometimes it has to be enough to know that sometimes things are not okay
it has to be enough to know that time will make it better.
sometimes it has to be enough to have a good day, sit on the couch
and watch American Idol and rewind memories
sometimes it has to be enough to hug goodbye for the night, & say "I'll see you soon"
and sometimes it has to be enough to know
that you will see each other again,
even if it is a long time from now.
